Netizen hires Joe Carr as director of cybersecurity, and Krebs Stamos Group names new chief information security officer.

Netizen, a veteran-owned cybersecurity solutions provider, named Joe Carr as director of cybersecurity. Carr held many different positions before Netizen, including overseeing acquisition programs for the United States military. 

Krebs Stamos Group, a technology risk insights provider, hired former Yahoo chief information security officer Micah McCutuch as president and chief operating officer. 

The National Motor Freight Traffic Association (NMFTA) hired Antwan Banks as director of enterprise security amid efforts to mitigate cyber attacks. Banks is an Operation Desert Storm veteran, and previously worked as director of cybersecurity for the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority.

JetBlue hired former Warner Bros. Discovery chief information security officer Keith Anderson. He will fulfill the role of CISO at JetBlue as well. 

Kroll, a financial risk advisory service, hired David Dunn as chief information security officer. Dunn has worked at Kroll since 2016 and formerly served as deputy chief information security officer.

Christine Vanderpool was appointed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis to the Florida Cybersecurity Advisory Board. Vanderpool currently works as the chief information security officer for Florida Crystals Corporation. 

GigTech, a Mexican Caribbean high-speed broadband provider, hired Karl Perman as chief security officer. Perman has held a variety of positions within the field infrastructure and security, including roles in military intelligence for the United States Army. 

Cameron “Buck” Rogers, chief information security officer at the Bank of England, was appointed to the Cyber Advisory Board for Norwich-based cybersecurity consulting firm CyberScale.

Coalfire, a cybersecurity advising provider, elevated vice president of compliance Karen Laughton to vice president of the advisory services division. Laughton oversaw risk management for Digital Management, Inc. and CACI Company APG Intel prior to working with Coalfire.
