Amanda Cody, chief information security officer at Booz Allen

Flatiron Health CISO Josh DeFrain joined e-commerce platform Rokt. He will serve as the company’s first CISO and will lead the company’s information security efforts. DeFrain also served in security leadership roles at Capital One, and developed big data platforms as a security contractor working with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Supply chain platform Binarly named Ryan Hurst as cybersecurity product strategist. He will advise Binarly on product design, market development and strategy. He led the core security and cloud trust services products at Google.

Clifford Rossi was named director of the Smith Enterprise Risk Consortium at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business. Rossi served as managing director and chief risk officer for Citigroup’s Consumer Lending Division during the 2008 financial crisis.

Dr. Janet Bastiman was appointed to the Financial Conduct Authority’s synthetic data expert group, a group within the UK banking regulator’s innovation advisory group. She is chief data scientist at anti-money laundering platform Napier.
