Cybereason names CSO, SafeBreach hires CISO, AND WELLS FARGO CIO JOINS AMEX.

American Express hired Ravi Radhakrishnan as chief information officer. Radhakrishnan was previously chief information officer and head of technology for Wells Fargo’s commercial banking and corporate and investment banking businesses.

Bug bounty platform HackerOne hired Chris Evans as chief information security officer. Evans founded the Google Chrome security team and he led Google Project Zero’s research team, which aimed to reduce security vulnerability to zero.

Cyber defense provider Cybereason appointed CK Chim as field chief security officer for the Asia Pacific region. Chim joins Cybereason from Dyson, where he most recently was chief information security officer, leading the appliance maker’s information technology, operational technology, and Internet of Things operations.

Attack simulation platform SafeBreach hired Avishai Avivi as chief information security officer. Prior to joining SafeBreach, Avivi was chief information security and privacy officer at Tax Credit Co. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president of information security at E*TRADE.

Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency director Jen Easterly appointed new members to the agency’s cybersecurity advisory committee. The group’s 23 members will advise the Department of Homeland Security’s cyber defense arm on policies, planning, and training programs to improve the nation’s cybersecurity. In August, CISA launched a collaboration that brought together industry leaders from the private sector and government agencies to combat ransomware threats.

New York State’s chief information security officer Karen Sorady retired after 32 years of work for the state. An interim security officer was not announced.

United States Postal Service named Heather L. Dyer as acting vice president and chief information security officer. ​​Previously Dyer worked in identity and access management, also as CISO, to modernize the Postal Service and keep their data secure.

GE Digital CEO Patrick Byrne was appointed as board chairman of connected systems provider Verra Mobility, replacing private equity investor Jacob Kotzubei. Byrne has been a member of the board, and the company’s audit committee since November 2020.

Wireless network solutions provider Cradlepoint nabbed Qualys global chief information security officer Ben Carr, where he will serve as chief information security officer.
